KLAPPA VS QUIZLET
Klappa is a free flashcard app with no paid tier: every deck studies as Flashcards, Learn, Write and Test, on an FSRS-6 schedule, in any browser and in a Mac app that works offline. Bring your Quizlet sets over by pasting their exported text.
THE SHORT ANSWER
Klappa is free, with no subscription, no in-app purchase and no ads, and that includes its AI, Klappa Cortex, and its classroom quizzes, Klappa Live. There is no premium tier to hit a monthly limit on.
Every Klappa deck studies four ways: Flashcards for recall, Learn for multiple choice, Write for typed answers and Test for a graded pass. Reviews are scheduled with FSRS-6, the open spaced repetition algorithm that current Anki versions also offer, on the website and in the Mac app alike.
You do not start from zero. A Quizlet set you created exports as text, and Klappa's Import tab turns that text into cards. Anki decks come across too, through the Anki Portal.
SIDE BY SIDE
Every Klappa cell is checked against Klappa's own code. Every Quizlet cell is taken from Quizlet's own upgrade page and help center, as published in October 2026.

WHAT YOU GET
MOVE A SET
Klappa moves a Quizlet set as text: terms and definitions come across, images do not, because Quizlet's export does not include them.
FAQ
Yes. Klappa has no subscription, no in-app purchase and no ads, and that includes Learn, Write, Test, Klappa Cortex and Klappa Live.
Yes, as text. Export a set you created from the Quizlet website with a tab between term and definition, copy the text, and paste it into the Import tab when you create a Klappa deck. Terms and definitions come across; images do not, because Quizlet does not export them.
Yes. Klappa schedules with FSRS-6, an algorithm current Anki versions also offer, and runs it in Study and Learn on the website and in the Mac app. Klappa decks target 0.95 retention with a 60-day maximum interval.
Klappa gives you Flashcards, Learn, Write and Test study modes on an FSRS-6 schedule, for free. It also imports Anki .apkg decks with their schedule, so you can keep both kinds of deck in one app.
Yes, in the Mac app. Open a deck once while online and it stays on your Mac; your grades save on the device and sync when you reconnect. The website needs a connection.
The native iPhone and iPad app is submitted to Apple and not yet on the App Store. Klappa's web app runs in Safari on iPhone today.
